Atmosphere & wind
Paste the METAR for the departure field to fill the altimeter, temperature and wind, or type them. Runway numbers give the crosswind and headwind components.

Arrival wind
Takeoff & landing data
Computed from the POH tables at the pressure altitude, temperature and takeoff weight above (interpolated between table rows, zero wind). You can overwrite any figure with the one you read from the book.
Preflight
Preflight risk assessment
Rate each item 1 to 5. A 5 is a No-Go. Total 25–49 is normal, 50–74 elevated, 75 and above high. In the elevated or high range solo flight is not authorized; on a dual flight the CFI rates the same items to transfer some of the risk.
Stations, limits and formulas
91.103 — Each pilot in command shall, before beginning a flight, become familiar with all available information concerning that flight: weather reports and forecasts, fuel requirements, alternatives available, traffic delays, and runway lengths and takeoff and landing distances. This page is a planning aid; the POH and the airplane's W&B record govern.
